Open most walking pad brand's product page and you will find nearly the same set of words: foldable, easy to store, fits under the bed. On the three major U.S. retail platforms, products in this category are typically routed to the same destination—Sports & Fitness. We are no exception. UREVO is listed there as well. But users did not treat walking pads purely as exercise equipment.
Movement That Fits Into the Workday
Amazon's AI-generated category summary, drawn from thousands of reviews, opens with a scenario no product listing had ever described: users sliding their walking pads under standing desks and walking while they work. A few years earlier, some brands had already begun marketing walking pads for office use. After 2020, search terms related to under-desk walking began trending upward at scale.
More Room for Every Step
The rest of the industry wasn't standing still. Over the years, walking pads got shorter, lighter; heights were pushed low enough to fit under most desks; belt dimensions across brands converged. These were all moves in the right direction. But one thing did not change: the front of the machine—the motor housing.
At that point, every walking pad still placed its drive components at the front end, level with the belt surface, creating a raised section that juts out beyond the belt. In an exercise setting, this is inconsequential—your attention is on your feet and the path ahead. But under a desk, the situation reverses. Eyes on the screen, the raised housing at the front goes unnoticed underfoot.A walking pad genuinely designed for the desk should offer a complete, uninterrupted surface underfoot. That conviction led us to build UREVO CyberPad for Office.
For UREVO CyberPad for Office, we repositioned the drive components vertically and integrated them beneath the deck. The front-end housing disappears; The walking surface extends to the very front of the machine.
More Space to Stand upright
Brushless motors, smaller than their brushed counterparts, UREVO made it physically possible to integrate beneath the drive for the first time. But the problem was not that simple.
Before UREVO CyberPad for Office reached its final form, we had already attempted a submerged layout. The early prototype came in at over 30 centimeters thick. Placed under a desk, the user could not stand upright to work—they would have to hunch over. That was unacceptable. Getting the thickness down was not just a matter of moving the motor; the spatial relationship between rollers, belt, and drivetrain had to be redesigned from scratch.
Once the motor moved below the deck, three constraints surfaced simultaneously: heat dissipation required airflow space, structural rigidity required material thickness, and desk use required a lower chassis. The three competed directly with one another.
The final chassis height of UREVO CyberPad for Office was set at 16 centimeters—the result of a deliberate trade-off. Any thinner, and either thermal capacity or structural integrity would be compromised. But there is a ceiling to how high a standing desk can rise. Every centimeter of machine height is a centimeter of usable desk height lost to the person above it.
Built for a Full Office Day
Whether a submerged layout could run reliably under sustained, high-load conditions—no one had done it before. There was no answer.
For UREVO CyberPad for Office, we chose to let testing provide an answer: over 150,000 hours of steady-state testing, over 72 hours of impact testing.
The test results passed the inspection of the UREVO lab. A walking pad that could genuinely fit into a working day was ready. We named the drive system in UREVO CyberPad for Office MegaPower™. The name refers to what the motor, controller, rollers, and drivetrain deliver as a calibrated whole.
From Movement Data to the Next Right Step
UREVO CyberPad for Office was ready. But how long to walk, when to stop, whether today was enough—the machine itself could not answer these. There is no shortage of products on the market that record physical activity, and some that interpret the data. But very few translate a conclusion into a specific, actionable next step. Most still stop at "your activity was low today" rather than "here is what you should do next." That is UREVO’s next development goal: from building the right piece of hardware, to delivering the one thing you should do right now—and having our own hardware carry it out on the spot.
Since its launch in 2025, CyberPad for Office has received strong reviews. One user chose a telling unit of measure: a full office day. To us, that phrase lands closer to the scenario CyberPad for Office was built for than "a 30-minute workout" ever could. CyberPad for Office is the first answer from UREVO's Healthy Office line—hardware and software working as one. UREVO’s Healthy Office line continues, for everyone who wants to stay active while they work.
